The second problem arises when parents and children aren’t involved with local homeschooling families. It’s important to have homeschooling relationships with others who live near you. When you are involved with other homeschoolers, you and your children will have support and friends.

As a homeschooling parent, it’s essential to approach homeschooling and education with an open mind. If you try to replicate the public school system in your home, you are unlikely to succeed. You’ll want to learn more about the many approaches homeschoolers use to educate their children from home.

As the primary homeschooling parent, it’s common to put your family’s needs before your own. However, it is vital that you prioritize and take care of yourself. If you don’t take care of yourself, you are likely to burn out and quit homeschooling your kids.
