A Personal Story…
To illustrate how life coaching can help parents, I want to share a little story.
Several years ago, during my children’s tween and early teen years, I found myself in a state of unhappiness. After a decade of dedicating myself to homeschooling, I realized that in my effort to be an excellent mom, I had lost touch with my own needs.
Neglecting myself became a problem – a big problem. I was physically drained from the endless cycle of household chores, shopping, chauffeuring, and the myriad of other demands that fall on a mother’s shoulders. Despite the constant business, I felt a deep mental boredom—a kind of emotional exhaustion that left me feeling irritable and detached.
I had to face a hard truth:
I was crabby. And I can tell you that if you don’t like being with yourself, neither does anyone else.
I knew then that something in my life needed to change.

Discovering Life Coaching: A Turning Point
During this time frame, I decided to write a book, and this led me to the founding of HomeSchool ThinkTank. However, it didn’t take me long to realize that starting an organization was hard and that it would require more grit, knowledge, and determination than I had imagined.
I clearly remember thinking, “If I don’t toughen up, I’m never going to succeed.”
That single thought led me to seek out information about how to improve my mindset, and that led me to life coaching.
What’s funny though, is that while I discovered life coaching to help me succeed with HomeSchool ThinkTank, I realized that all of the work that I was doing to improve my mindset was also helping me improve my parenting.
Ultimately, I thought, “Every parent needs to know this stuff (mindset work). This is the secret to homeschooling and parenting successfully.”
That’s when I decided to become a life coach. While I didn’t act on my decision immediately, I knew that this was something I was going to do. I wanted to become a life coach so that I could help parents succeed in homeschooling, parenting, and life.

How Life Coaching Helped Me & Why I Am Certain It Can Help You, Too
While I believe that I have always been a good mom and person, I am certain that I am a much better parent and human than I was before I found life coaching.
Through life coaching, I have become much more aware of how my thoughts impact my life and the lives of my children, family, friends, and the world at large. I have overcome fears, developed a deep compassion for humanity, and discovered a level of confidence that I didn’t know was within me.
While you will find life coaching because you are struggling in some area of your life, I truly believe that life coaching will help you develop a self-awareness that will positively impact your life and generations beyond you.
This is why I strongly recommend signing up for life coaching with me: I believe the work you do with me will have a positive impact on you and your children.

How Much Does Individual Coaching Cost?
I know parents of school-age children have a lot of expenses, so I’ve made my coaching packages through HomeSchool ThinkTank incredibly affordable.
Compared to many other services like a massage, haircut, or other consulting services, you’re very likely to spend upwards of one hundred dollars for one appointment and the results are probably short-lived.
On the other hand, the skills you develop through life coaching will last a lifetime, and your cost will be much less, too!
Whether you’re facing parenting challenges, personal growth hurdles, or relationship issues, my coaching is tailored to meet your unique needs.

You do not need to do anything to prepare for your consultation. During our time together, I’ll ask you a few questions to see where you need the most help. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask me questions.
Please note that your free consultation is not a coaching session. It is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other. I want to understand your situation and I also want you to have confidence before signing up for a coaching package with me.
